After the pronoun the verb agrees: masculine/feminine, singular/plural. Present tense shows this clearly.
Focus first on אני + 4 basic verbs, then expand to אתה/את, הוא/היא.
Memorize the set: אני אתה את הוא היא אנחנו אתם אתן הם הן. Practice switching a noun phrase into pronouns and adjusting the verb.
